Caribbean Monologues

Where every day is summer.

I'm 26.
I'm a male.
I like writing, reading and contemplating how to make people's lives better.
I'm good at things that I don't like to do.
I suck at things I love to do.
Neither of those things makes me any money.
I love the color Orange.
I enjoy meeting new people so send me an ask or something if you stumble upon this thing and are a Tumblr user.
My writing is available on my professional blog:

Feel free to follow it if you read.
Also: Tumblr has the nicest people of any community I've ever used. I like it.

When I first saw this card I was all “meh”, because a detain card to seven mana? Meh was the proper description for it. Then I reread the action text. Wait. Detain target nonland permanent? Every time it attacks? To be honest, 7 mana is still a bit of a heavy casting cost for Archon, but the fact that it effectively locks down a pair of permanents is something you should take into consideration. It doesn’t even need to land the attack, it just needs to declare it. You can cancel out almost anything unsavory that could be hanging out in on the field and what’s more you can keep doing it. That is, if you survive till turn 7 to be able to.

On March 25th, 1965, Martin Luther King Jr. led thousands of nonviolent demonstrators to the steps of the capitol in Montgomery, Alabama, after a 5-day, 54-mile march from Selma, Alabama. These protestors were campaigning for voting rights. Forty-eight years and one day later, we have a black president in office, and protestors from all over the USA, from different backgrounds and nationalities, have traveled and are currently standing on the steps of Supreme Court and demanding their rights. #equality #gayrights #instagay #instaright #america #supremecourt #samesexmarriage #gaymarriage #gay #noh8 #civilrights #fullcircle #progression #movingforward #martinlutherkingjr #washingtondc #lesbian #gay #lgbt #trans #lezworld2012 #followlezworld2012
